The new NBC historical fiction television series "The Playboy Club" is now in production in Chicago, and an open casting call will be held on August 20, 2011 for people interested in working as a background artists on the show. The series regulars and larger guest starring roles are cast in Los Angeles and New York, while smaller speaking roles and extras are cast in Chicago.

The popular Dutch talent show 'The Voice of Holland' now has an American counterpart. NBC is searching for the 2011 best Voice of America, and open casting calls now scheduled throughout the United States in January and February, 2011. The winner of this competition gets a recording contract with a major label.
