Walt Disney co-owned Marvel Studios is moving full steam ahead with pre-production on the upcoming superhero blockbuster film "The Avengers". The film will be directed by Academy Award Nominated Joss Whedon, and shot in 3-D. There will be casting for day players and extras in Albuquerque, as well as in Michigan and New York, the other two filming locations.
