The ABC Family series "The Lying Game", based on a series of novels of the same name by Sara Shepard, has announced an open casting call for extras in Austin, TX on November 19, 2011. All ages and types are needed. The show is filmed at the Austin Studios and various locations in and around the Austin area.

Warner Horizon Television and TNT will begin filming the continuation of the "Dallas" series, which aired on CBS from 1978 to 1991, in October, 2012. The new series will center primarily around J.R. Ewing's son John Ross, and Bobby's adopted son Christopher. Casting for the series stars and guest stars is taking place in Los Angeles, and casting for smaller speaking roles, extras, photo doubles, and stand-ins is taking place in Dallas, TX where shooting will take place.
