The mega-popular Hasbro board game Battleship is about to come to life on the big screen as an epic naval action adventure. Battleship will begin shooting at Baton Rouge, Louisiana's Celtic Studios in August, 2010. The release date is scheduled for May 25, 2012. Principal actors are being cast in Los Angeles, with some featured roles and all extras being cast in Baton Rouge.
Hasbro has teamed with Universal Pictures to bring the feature film "Battleship" to the big screen, and casting for all roles is now underway. The film will begin shooting May, 2010 in Austrailia and Hawaii. The release date is now set for May 25, 2012.
