The hit Lifetime Television series Drop Dead Diva is currently in production on season 2. Auditions and casting for actors, stand-ins, and extras is ongoing. The series shoots in Atlanta, larger roles may be cast from Los Angeles. Season 2 of Drop Dead Diva premieres in June, 2010 on Lifetime.

ABC Family is currently holding auditions for a new telefilm titled "Revenge of the Bridesmaids". Casting information for the actors and extras is now available. Filming will take place starting April 12, 2010 in New Orleans, Louisiana.




 
 




The CBS series Hawaii Five-O will begin filming in Hawaii next week and the extras casting department is seeking lots of people to work on the show as extras.

Paramount Studios, Arad Productions, and Marvel Studios have teamed up to begin production on the feature film "The First Avenger: Captain America." Auditions and casting for the remaining supporting actors, day players, and extras will be ongoing.




 
 



CBS has officially greenlit the 'Hawaii Five-O' comeback for a full season. This remake of the classic TV series is being developed by 'Transformers' writers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, along with 'CSI: NY' executive producer Peter Lenkov, who wrote the script under their supervision. Casting is now underway and shooting will begin March, 2010 in Hawaii.




 
 




“The Transformers 3" has officially been given the green light by Paramount Pictures and auditions will be taking place prior to the shooting start date in May, 2010. Director Michael Bay has signed on to direct his third Transformers picture. This film now has an updated release date scheduled for July 1st, 2011.

HBO has picked up the Martin Scorsese series Boardwalk Empire for a full season and the casting information is now available. The show is filmed in New York and is under SAG contract and is set to air in Fall, 2010.




 
 
Disney Channel has picked up the new 1/2 hour scripted series "Janet Saves The Planet" and Disney casting directors for the show are casting the series regulars. The show is written and produced by Emmy Award nominated Jane Milmore and Billy Van Zandt.
