Disney Channel and It's a Laugh Productions are teaming for a new series pilot epidode of the show 'Smart Alec'. The producers are hoping to find the next big Disney Channel Starlet. Shooting starts mid-November.

Walt Disney Pictures and Jerry Bruckheimer Films have officially given the green light to begin production on "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" starring Johnny Depp. The project is in active development and filming begins in April or May of 2010. there will be several new main characters cast for the film, as well as numerous supporting roles and extras.
